JEMINA PEARL RETURNS TO THE STAGE According to all the reports , the return of ex- Be Your Own Pet lead singer Jemina Pearl to the world of music was nothing but a triumph, albeit perhaps an awkward one for the pint-sized crooner. I guess it would be dumb to expect anything other than this: Here's a performance of Jemina Pearl's solo debut at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg this weekend, and her new song, "So Sick!" sounds exactly like Be Your Own Pet--right down to the lyrical, power chord riffs. Given that Pearl's guitarist is former BYOP drummer John Eatherly makes the sound similarity even more inevitable.
