Video: Hot chip new single - Take it in

Om heel eerlijk te zijn, vond ik 2009 geen geweldig muzikaal jaar. Er zijn een paar echt goede releases geweest, maar toch heb ik er niet echt veel kunnen vinden. Misschien heeft het er mee te maken dat mijn muzieksmaak om de 2 maanden alweer verandert. Het belangrijkste verschil is dat ik liedjes van Bloody Beetroots, Foamo, Crookers en noem het maar op een beetje ga doorzien op gebied van simpelheid, laag niveau. Daarnaast zie je dat dit soort artiesten zich heel erg verschuiven naar de foute, net-geen-zonnebrillen-house scene. Iets wat mij ook behoorlijk bang maakt :). [...]

Hot Chip have announced the existense of their fourth studio album. "One Life Stand" will be released by Astralwerks on February 9, 2010. A press release describes the album as "a full blooded leap into the unknown" and one that is "more cohesive and more soulful".
