Music has been missing some good Tenacious D music, and the duo of Jack Black and Kyle Gass have returned with a new song called "Rize of the Fenix," which is the title track of their upcoming third album. It's about time these guys decided to come back! Tenacious D aka Jack Black and Kyle Gass will make their return to your album collection on May 15th with their third studio album, Rize Of The Fenix . Under The Radar reports that besides JB and Kage working on the music, Foo Fighters frontman/good friend of the duo Dave Grohl manhandles the drums on this LP. As previously reported , Tenacious D will finally release its third studio LP on May 15th via Columbia. Titled Rize of the Fenix , the follow up to 20062s soundtrack-turned-sophomore LP, The Pick of Destiny , will reunite Jack Black and Kyle Gass with longtime collaborator Dave Grohl, as Under the Radar reports. If you recall, the Foo Fighters frontman performed on both of the duo's previous LPs, and even played Satan in the 2006 film. The three reconvened at producer John Kimbrough's home, where they recorded the album in his garage. [...]
