I posted this a while back but now it's embedabble so it's worth a few more looks at least. Fucked Up perform their twelve minute new single 'Year of the Ox' with Annie-Claude Deschenes of Duchess Says and a lot of tape wrapped around foreheads. This is proper rock 'n' roll. The recorded version features Zola Jesus (really enjoying her Stridulum II album coming up) instead of Annie-Claude and can be heard on Pitchfork . It's released properly in late September via Matador internationally and Merge in North America.
Just listened to Fucked Up 's newest addition to their Zodiac 123 series, "Year of the Ox," and it's devastating. Merge is releasing the single on September 28 and Pitchfork is streaming the track in its 13-minute entirety here . Back in early March, the Toronto hardcore unit performed "Year of the Ox" for CBC Radio 3 with Annie-Claude Deschenes of Duchess Says in the studio to trade screams with Pink Eyes. Watch it above.

F*cked up , is planning on releasing "Year Of The Ox", which is part of the series of 'Year of" releases which already includes "Year of the Pig", "Year of the Dog" a nd "Year Of The Rat".
