Check out the soundtrack for "(500) Days Of Summer," the new indie Rom-Com starring the lovely Zooey Deschanel (one half of She & Him) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The movie looks absolutely adorable (peep the trailer below), and the soundtrack ain't half bad either. We don't really see it blowing up quite like the "Garden State" soundtrack did, but it's good; obviously, creating a soundtrack isn't as simple as making a mixtape, and it's a solid soundtrack. Yea yea yea, I know this is old news, but I just came across the song again on my iPod and it's so catchy and she was cool on Elf and She & Him is rad so whatever I'm talking about it again. Joseph Gordon Levitt and Zooey Deschenel's new movie 500 Days of Summer of may be the most indie-bred movie of all-time. After viewing only about 25 seconds of the trailer, in which the two discuss The Smiths' "There is a Light That Never Goes Out" off of the group's landmark 1985 album The Queen is Dead, (a la Garden State with The Shins ' "New Slang" scene. Upcoming movie 500 Days Of Summer features Zooey Deschanel and Jospeh Gordon-Hewitt (pictured above) and it's soundtrack looks equally as indie as those two look in that photo. Rivaling Garden State in more than attractive leads and alternative charm, the movie features a ton of decent tracks behind it's moving pictures including songs by Regina Spektor, a fair amount of The Smiths including a cover of Please, Please, Please, Give Me What I Want by She And Him, Feist, The Black-Lips and Doves.

Okay, so there's no fooling anyone -- we really burned ourselves out during the Cleveland International Film Festival , viewing 12 films within nine days. Although we can whole heartedly say that every single movie that we chose to see was uniquely fantastic (especially Cherry Blossoms ), we kinda needed a break from the good old movie theatre.
