Grizzly Bear continues to get mileage out of Veckatimest with this video for "Ready, Able". The song is as good as ever, but the stop motion video by Allison Schulnik is the real star here.

After producing an album that's almost guaranteed to go down as one of the best of 2009, Grizzly Bear have now delivered a contender for best video of 2009 coupled alongside Veckatimest highlight Ready, Able. Directed and created by Alison Schulnik, the stop-motion claymation flick is an absolutely unique visual treat as every part of the created scenery and characters twitch with unseen alterations.

Last week's gig just confirmed what I already knew, that Grizzly Bear's Veckatimest is my album of the year beating out even AnCo's early hype for Merriweather Post Pavilion .
