West is Best, Coast I wrote about Best Coast back in January when the rain was in fact snow and the winds were arctic, all I could think of was the summer, and the beach. Since then, I've had some summer and lots of beach, spending time down under, relaxing, but Bethany Constatino has been working hard. Best Coast seems to have the best luck with fan videos cut from found footage, but it's probably just because anything old and idyllic will go pretty well with her simple, sunny, lo-fi pop. Also, this clip for "When I'm With You" appears to have been done by the same guy who did the pretty good video for "Sun Was High (So Was I)." This is probably what Demy had hoped would happen to his work in the future, right? [ MBV ]
