For those who haven't yet heard of Bat For Lashes, I recommend you get familiar soon. Since seeing the video for "What's a Girl to Do" , it became clear to me that BFL is pretty serious about hers. The musical talent, the creative visuals, the look; it's all there. Her second album Two Suns is in stores now, and has won over critics and bloggers alike, due in part to the single "Daniel" (watch below). Always good to see indie folks getting network TV love, and this performance more than justifies [...]

Very few things can force me to watch Jimmy Kimmel. I actually find myself feeling embarrassed for him as he tries to be funny and...well, isn't. But he does have nice 'gets' for his musical guests, and last week was no exception. For Miss Natasha Kahn, I'll watch just about anything. Every time I see her perform 'Daniel' I feel like the arrangement just gets better and better. I'm not sure about her picnic blanket outfit, but I love her so I've found forgiveness in my heart.
