Video: The Antlers - I Don't Want Love recorded live at Austin City Limits, September 17th, 2011

The Antlers have Undersea coming out soon and announced an accompanying tour in support of their latest album. This includes a visit to Union Transfer on September 30th. They keep getting bigger in terms of venue when they visit Philly. I still kick myself for skipping The Antlers show in the side chapel at the First Unitarian Church. Hopefully I can make this one though since I'm yet to catch the trio live. Tickets  on sale this Friday.

As a collection of outtakes and remixes from Burst Apart , this extended play works fine, assuring fans that the band probably made that album as best they could, and gives fans a few alternative scenarios to play around with. The Antler's latest release, the (together) EP, consists mainly of alternate versions and remixes of songs from Burst Apart, along with one bonus track and a cover. Most of the interest in this EP lies in the alternative versions of album tracks, which show two sides of lead singer Peter Silberman and company: long-winded and spare. The EP [...]

As the holidays quickly approach, the number of shows in this fine city will dramatically decrease. Sure seems like someone forgot to tell that to the various bookers across the city.
