Danny Brown drops a video for one of my favorite tracks off of last year's XXX . It's one of the most obnoxious songs on the mixtape, and it's meant to be. Not only are Danny's lyrics a sharp criticism of the music business, but the instrumental and singing bring the song as far away from "radio friendly" as possible. Son Raw is swag wake-boarding. I've said all I have to say about the Hybrid in our hottest rapper list so I'll spare you the repetition and just say that this is the best video by anyone that skinny since Snoop crushed the buildings. Danny Brown may look like the world's coolest crack-head but he's also the only rapper who can still pull off this kind of organic "Things Fall Apart" minor-key piano track about the state of radio without coming off like a cornball - probably because he follows it up on the album [...]

Danny Brown offers up some more visuals for a track taken from his XXX LP. The simplistic video sees Danny donning more than one outfit, five to be a little more precise against a plain background before the effects start to be added left right and centre in post-production. It's been a little bit since Danny Brown has released anything attached to 2011's awesome XXX , one of Bears and Bullets 10 favorite albums of the year. The new video for "Radio Song," which is anything but, came out today with the deluxe version of his album (available on iTunes), and a week before his newest single "Grown Up" is released from Scion A/V .
