While in way, shape, or form, is this better than the original, Birdy does a very commendable job in covering The XX’ s “Shelter”. The 14 year old has such a lovely voice for someone that age, that it’s hard to criticize her too bad. Between this and “Skinny Love”, the has picked two almost impossible songs to cover, but give her a lot of credit for taking on the challenge. Moving Mondays is back with Birdy's new single - a cover of The xx's 'Shelter'. At only 15 years old, she shot to fame earlier this year with her cover of 'Skinny Love' by Bon Iver and now it looks like she's here to stay. And with a voice as good as hers, she's more than welcome.
