The new video for "Seraphim" embodies the repetitive nature of electronic music, splicing scenes of various OCD behaviors in an eerie, yet slick fashion.

A surprisingly tense feeling video showcasing a series of individuals and their obsessive-compulsive behavior. If they would have included folding tiny pieces of paper into symmetrical shapes I totally could have been in this video, guess that's not cinematic enough for them though. British duo Simian Mobile Disco just released the video for current single “Seraphim,” directed by rising star Aoife McArdle. Semanillas atrás Lemon presentaba, en un ácido post que algún día explicaremos, el video para el "primer" single adelantado del último trabajo de unos Simian Mobile Disco venidos algo a menos, en mi humilde opinión. Digo primer, aunque en realidad fue este Seraphine el primero que empezó a sonar, en su cuenta de soundcloud a través de los recurrentes snippets , tan de moda últimamente. Es ahora cuando el dúo británico muestra imagenes para acompañarla, que si bien no llega al punto cool conseguido con su primer video, bien es cierto que la canción es bastante mas [...]

Ayant déjà bossé avec Anna Calvi ou encore Little Comets, Aoife McArdle semblait être une valeur sûre pour Simian Mobile Disco . A travers cette vidéo un peu mystique ou je n'ai pas compris grand chose je dois l'avouer, nous nous rapprochons pas à pas de « Unpatterns » , le troisième album du groupe. « Seraphym » est le troisième titre de l'album, un peu lent, acid, et enivrant, il reste trop calme pour se démarquer du reste. Nous attendons donc la suite patiemment.
