"I am now walking through the library of tearful memories, and someone really messy has been in here, smoking and drinking and fucking up the order of things. Definitely not a librarian." Angus and Julia Stone remain just as humble today as they did when they first started recording in 2006, which, given the trajectory of their career so far, is somewhat remarkable. The Australian brother-sister duo -- swapping vocal duties pretty much whenever they feel like -- initially started as two separate solo acts wherein one would support the other on instruments, but before long it was realized [...]
[Happy birthday, Paul Weller. What I wouldn't give for a little Jam this morning:] Top 5 ways to make merry musically in Los Angeles tonight: ☛ Watch enchanting Australian brother-and-sister folkies Angus & Julia Stone — their new album "Down the Way" is awfully sweet — on the first of their two sold-out nights at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. ☛ Rock out to the Airborne Toxic Event (and support Amnesty International) at the L.A. quintet's sold-out benefit show at the Echo. I pose this question to you: Why are Australians so great ? Why are they so extraordinarily wonderful ? Even Natalie Imbruglia had her moments [...]

Je débute avec l'un des plus jolis disque que j'ai eu l'occasion d'écouter ces dernières semaines. Down The Way est la deuxième livraison du duo australien Angus & Julia Stone.
Australian brother and sister duo Angus & Julia Stone are back with sophomore album Down The Way , the follow up to their 2009 critically acclaimed debut A Book Like This . The album drops on March 30, 2010, but Angus & Julia have premiered the first new single, "And The Boys," and now "Black Crow", both available on Amazon. Down The Way is a self-produced album recorded between England, New York and Australia-from an old sawmill on the riverbanks of Fowey, [...]

After watching the first 6 minutes of the Hollywood blockbuster Australia I wanted to dive head first out of my bedroom window. My window isn't nearly high enough to kill me on impact, only cause an extreme amount of pain, which at that time was better than watching anymore of that 'movie'. I needed something authentically Australian to make me smile and Angus & Julia Stone was the first thing I played. These Australian siblings are a pretty low-key duo but they're gradually rising and their new single And The Boys is really really good and it's got [...]

'And The Boys' es el primer corte del nuevo disco de Angus & Julia Stone titulado 'Down The Way'.

MySpace: Angus & Julia Stone After time away from touring, festivals, and the usual months spent tinkering in recording studios, Angus & Julia Stone are back with another soulful and swooning album due for release in March 2010. The album, Down The Way, is sure to be another impressive collection of ...

Brother/sister folk duo, Angus & Julia Stone, received a lot of critical attention in 2007 following the release of their debut, A Book Like This , in their native Australia. Outside their homeland, however, they're still flying under the radar. A new LP called Down The Way is due out in Australia in March, and this is the rather lush video to its first single, "and the boys". No capitals allowed.

Just last week we reported the brother and sister Stone had just premiered a brand new track from a forthcoming album, and now they have released a video for the same, and, unbeknown to most of the outside bloggin world, they have a new EP out, check out the Aussie dynamic duo in this steaming hot new video of Julia as well the spankin new 3 track EP out on iTunes Angus & Julia Stone - And The Boys [...]

The sister's voice is mesmerizingly depressing and could turn spring into autumn. This song is cute and they continue improving with time. Posted in Aussie, Beats, Clip Tagged: album, and the boys, angus, Beats, download, folk, julia, music, new, stone, track, video
