One of the first things you notice about Jessica Lea Mayfield, besides that powerful voice of an old, heavy soul who's lived through a ten lives of hard times, is how she can turn a song on its end with the twist of a single phrase. Jessica Lea Mayfield is a singer-songwriter from Kent, Ohio. Her debut album, With Blasphemy So Heartfelt , was produced by Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys and features her brother, Auerbach on various instruments, and Scott McMicken, guitarist from Dr. Dog.
