Coldplay released their official video for the single ' Viva La Vida .' At the same time, they also put out another version they shot that was more Coldplay-esq . As usually, I prefer the weird stuff . Come on, who wouldb't love Chris Martin as a king? Maybe not the common people but at least he's got 3 followers!

Yes, "videos" plural. If you're like me, you assumed the iTunes commercial was the official video for Coldplay's "Viva La Vida." But no, there are two new videos to absorb as part of Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends 's revolutionary snore. The official clip, directed by Hype Williams, is basically the iTunes commercial, but longer. Not content with the fact that the title track from Viva La Vida already kind of has a video—albeit one that's for a truncated version of the song —the gents in Coldplay have commissioned not one, but two videos for it.
