First things first: There's no "D.A.N.C.E." on Justice's sophomore album. There's not really any "DVNO" either. Much of Justice's original popular appeal lay in their ability to craft these ridiculously catchy, instantly memorable fizzy dance tunes, and other than a vaguely sticky little vocal line on "Newlands," they've pretty much entirely left that behind now. Even though we don't know the name of Justice's forthcoming sophomore album, we're slowly but surely learning more about the follow-up to 2007's lauded Cross . For one, we know it's scheduled to drop this fall on Ed Banger Records and we also know it's lead single, " Civilization ," isn't terribly exciting. But hey, maybe the French dance duo is hiding its true hit elsewhere on the record. Who knows. All we can do now is study the recently revealed track list and start guessing. My money's on "Horsepower" or "Parade." [...]

Having first surfaced in an Adidias commercial some months back, Justice are now giving 'Civilisation' a proper airing. No strangers to religious iconography, the accompanying video hints at the struggle between heaven and hell, with stampeding buffalo thrown in for good measure (and why not?). As for the tune... it's Justice. 'Nuff said.

"Huggin & Kissin" is a flattering song to its predecessors. At first when you hear that New Order style intro you think to yourself "oh no... not again", but soon the hooks supersede and forgiveness kicks in. Big Black Delta is the young project of Mellowdrone frontman Jonathan Bates . We're into it.
