At long last Nicki Minaj has released the video for Starships , the latest single to be lifted  from her sophomore album Roman Reloaded .  In the colorful piece, she rocks a pink bikini shaking her booty for all it's worth! Later, she goes all Sound Of Music on us and sings atop a mountain, and kaleidoscopic scenes are worked in. In the time since it first debuted, I've gone from absolutely despising Nicki Minaj's craven cheeseball dance-rap single " Starships " to kind of liking it, which means I'll probably love it before the summer is out; these things always seem to work out that way. I'm not sure I can say the same thing about the brand-new "Starships" video, though. Director Anthony Mandler shot the clip in Oahu, and it's a furiously goofy affair with an alien Nicki beaming down to have a beach-rave with fire-dancers and assorted Eurotrashy types. After some sparring with VEVO, Nicki Minaj has released her lava-rave video for Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded single "Starships." The clip, directed by Anthony Mandler, was shot on Oahu in Hawaii.
