Band of Horses threw up on Facebook this morning all the details for their much anticipated follow up to 20102s Infinite Arms . The new album is titled Mirage Rock and will be released on September 17th. They've also offered up the first single along with a video to the track directed by frequent collaborator Christopher Wilson. Open-hearted road-trip-music all-stars Band Of Horses have just announced that they'll release album number four, entitled Mirage Rock , right around the time summer ends. And they've shared the video for the album's opening track "Knock Knock," a fizzily chugging jam with some seriously great handclaps toward the end. The visuals are just straight nature footage, but it's nice to hear the album opener for the upcoming Band Of Horses release Mirage Rock . The album is due out on September 18th and they're currently hitting the road with My Morning Jacket. Hopefully an MP3 will surface of "Knock Knock" so I can listen to it more. When Band Of Horses dropped that teaser trailer for their new album a few weeks back it was assumed that the title of the album would "Dumpster World", but that's not the case as they've now announced that it's actually called Mirage Rock .
