Creating a music video, in my opinion, should be about creating art. There are so many intricate elements that should go into a video that are so often left forgotten or, at least, unattended. My ipod was on shuffle and this song I had not yet listened to played. I didn't pay much attention to the simple synthy beep bops. Then the beat picked up and I was hearing "we will never stop" lyrics repeat and suddenly I was blasting the song through my headphones, my pace picked up, each new step became purposeful. Just like that, this song became the perfect soundtrack to a breezy, blue skied, spring day. [...]
Languid and epic; they come together to form the unlikeliest of bedfellows. A fusion of the sleek and sultry and chillingly crisp, a chromatose panther dancing on ice before mutating into a car like one of those flickeringly, improbable adverts. The coup de grace is the way Sarah Assbring sits astride it all, pronounced, playing the part of the executioner and the sentenced, the puppet and the strings (ably assisted by Rasmuss Hägg).
