Video: The xx at Chats Palace, London

O trio indie-pop atmosférico The XX acaba de anunciar o nome do segundo álbum. Coexist sai 10 de Setembro com selo da  Young Turks , editora de projectos como SBTRKT, El Guincho ou Chairlift. Desde el 2009 que no sabemos nada de The XX, aunque por lo pronto podemos encontrar videos que muestran algunos de sus nuevos temas siendo tocados en sus últimas presentaciones. La canción aun sin nombre que acompaña el post seguro no te dejara indiferente, vamos, su próximo disco viene siendo más esperado que la segunda llegada de Jesucristo, creo.

La semana pasada pudimos escucha parte de una canción aún sin título que el trío The XX  estrenó en el Chats Palace de Londres. Hoy, tenemos esa canción entera. Además, en el  Battersea Arts Centre  en la misma ciudad, debutaron el track As I Am . Mercury Prize-winning band the xx played a series of very low key (not to mention very small and hard to get into) gigs this past week in London. Watch it below. As we previously reported, The xx have finally returned, announcing a string of European shows earlier this month, giving fans reason to begin the hype process for album no. 2. Now that tour has begun, and fans impatiently waiting on information and material from the new album have reason to rejoice: the band debuted a new song Tuesday night at Chats Palace in London. The xx recently returned to the stage for their first few small shows in quite some time, and they took the opportunity to debut some of their long-awaited new material. We already posted video of them playing one untitled-as-far-as-we-know new song. The xx performed their first concert in 18 months at the Electrowerkz in London on Monday night.  The 13-song set weighed heavy in new material, presumably from their upcoming sophomore album. Below, you can watch footage of one such untitled cut. The xx will tour the UK and Europe relentlessly the coming months, making stops at Primavera Sound , Electric Picnic , and Bestival , among many other summer festivals.
