Battle Born seems intent on making a statement, proving the group could pull off more artistic songs without having to appease radio format programmers, here avoiding easy pop hits in favor of a more expansive sound that's more MOR than AOR. It's fair to say The Killers have never matched their early success. Debut album 'Hot Fuss' is pretty much universally praised as their best work and, since then, they've constantly looked backwards, attempting to recreate the magic. It's taken almost four years for The Killers [ Twitter / Facebook ] to get to where they are now, and even then, there were some who thought they wouldn't get here at all. The Killers are back and more visually stripped-down than ever. “Runaways” is the lead single from Battle Born , the band’s first new album in four years, and one that sees them trading ornate costumes and elaborate sets for simple, stimulating imagery. Arctic Monkeys - Come Together (Beatles Cover) Die Arctic Monkeys hatten die Ehre, an der Eröffnungszeremonie der Olympischen Sommerspiele in London aufzutreten. Anlässlich ihres Auftrittes coverten sie auch "Come Together" von den Beatles. Den Track gibt es leider nur im englischen iTunes-Store. The Killers have released a video for their new single, “Runaway”. I’ve been up and down with these stars ever since “Mr. Brightside” first found it’s way to every single middle schooler, but I fully approve of this. Even though, i would have appreciated a little more of interesting video given this detailed lyricism.  The Killers ’ new record, Battle Born , will be out September 18th.

The video is pretty simple in that it's a band performance video but the changing scenery and cuts to passing images make for an interesting watch that keeps your attention throughout.
