The Japandroids seem to tour for years in support of an album and they are back in NY at Webster Hall in December, which promises to be yet another insane show.  And if you want to know what insane means, just check out the video below.  I, as always, will be in the back away from the mosh pit.  

I've been hearing the Japandroids name for a while now, but never gave them a listen. My mistake. After checking out this track from their new album Celebration Rock, I'm a fan. And from the visuals, their live show is a blast too. Don't sleep on these guys like I did. Shit rocks. They'll be in Philly on December 8th at Union Transfer. Last week, Vancouver duo Japandroids kick off four straight months of touring, beginning August 14 at Portugal's Paredes De Coura Festival. In addition to the already announced European dates, the band has added shows in October, with stops in Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Greece and the UK, finishing up at Pitchfork Music Festival Paris. The band will then follow up their June/July sold out North American tour with headlining dates beginning after their November 1 performance at Fun Fun Fest in Austin .
