While we shared Bloc Party ’s return single, “Octopus”, with you late last week, the band has now put out a video for said song. This features a lot of hypnotizing effects in a cozy warehouse spot. Oft sind ja Remixe vom Remix Artist Collective kurz RAC besser als das Original. In diesem speziellen Fall liesse sich wohl abendfüllend darüber streiten, denn das Original ist dermassen stark, dass ich gar sagen würde, dass es der beste Bloc Party-Track seit "Banquet" oder "Flux" ist. Now this is how you do a remix. Bloc Party is coming back late August with a new album called Four and Octopus is their first single. The original has the band doing what they do best: a healthy mix of neo-punk and singer/songwriter poetics. Personally, it's great to hear a band stick to their guns and not change their whole image with each album.
