Since the Libertines first dropped anchor with their debut album back in 2002 it's become almost de rigueur for British indie acts to sing jaunty pop songs about y'know like everyday life and stuff. Not that it's a bad thing (hell Ray Davies turned it into an art-form) it's just a shame that so few of Doherty's acolytes have managed to articulate the plight of the everyday man as eloquently as mess-rs Davies, Weller or even Parklife era Albarn. Myspace You might remember new track "Sticks N' Stones" from earlier this summer, a pure dose of summer fun showing that Mr. Treays had not lost his step one bit. Jamie T's second album, Kings and Queens , hit UK shelves last week -- this is the latest single from the disc. "Chaka Demus" is also available as a standalone EP which contains the title track and three songs not found on the album.

Walrus favourite Jamie T is back with his second album Kings & Queens this week, and whilst the review will be a few days here are a couple of videos for two of my favourites. Stick 'n' Stones especially is just a wonderful wonderful pop song. Listen up.
