If you rather be at the cinema this Monday afternoon rather than stuck at the office, perhaps you'll find some comfort in the ANTONY & THE JOHNSONS new video, CUT THE WORLD , featuring Willem Dafoe, Marina Abramović, and Carice van Houten at their offices.

The title track from Antony's new, live and symphonic release Cut The World is a previously unreleased track coming from the stage show The Life and Death of Marina Abramović . Fittingly, the famed performance artist brings her iconic mug to this stark, chilling, short filmic Nabil-directed clip's conclusion, but not before Carice Van Houten (of Game Of Thrones ) and Willem Dafoe (of Game Of Cheekbones ) work their way through a little secretary/boss disagreement. That is, Willem's character seems to feel he is entitled to keep living, while Carice takes the opposite position. [...]

As previously reported , Anthony and the Johnsons' new live album features a previously unreleased track called "Cut the World". Now, via Pitchfork TV , the band has revealed a music video for the track starring Carice van Houten (AKA Melisandre in Game of Thrones ) as the vengeful secretary of Willem Dafoe. NABIL served as director. The live abum Cut the World is out this week via Secretly Canadian/Rough Trade.
