Back in early March we posted the first single from Beach House's upcoming second album Myth . Well now they've just released the second, Lazuli , and it's rather brilliant too. Echoey soundscapes underpin a menacing, reverb-drenched vocal. The band recently hinted that Bloom will be darker than its predecessor Teen Dream explaining that its themes are "death and loss of innocence" . Can't wait. Lazuli will be released on Record Store Day (April 21) with the B-side, non-album track Equal Mind .

Beach House's lastest preview to their upcoming fifth album breathes more of the same hypnotic energy, helping turn this hot L.A. day into a sign of good times. Beach House shared this single on their twitter, following a Dutch radio station being forced to take it down. Titled Bloom, the album is set to release on May 15th. Continuing a streak of bad luck for the band, the album leaked online inferior quality far before its release, no word as to whether that was, in fact, the final version. "Lazuli" continues Beach House's supreme penchant for breathy, dreamy tracks, and hits right where it should.

We Listen For You puts it best "Beach House is doing that thing where they only make amazing songs." After dropping the oh-so-good "Myth" last month , Beach House have followed it up with the release of "Lazuli" .  Both tracks are super good (i still enjoy "Myth" a bit more) and I can't wait for hear the rest of Bloom , which is Beach House's upcoming LP Bloom is shaping up to be one 20122s best. Dream-pop duo Beach House have revealed a brand-new track, entitled 'Lazuli'. My absolute favorite song from my (upcoming) favorite album of 2012 just surfaced awhile ago. Beach House's new LP Bloom is a sweeping, ear devouring release that's akin to getting into a hot tub with a sigh relief and then the jets turn on. Yes, that's definitely the spot. "Lazuli" is such a fantastic song that starts off unassumingly and blossoms (no pun) into a track so rich with vocals, Legrand becomes her own backing choir. A brand new track from Beach House has appeared online. Originally it was pointed out by the good folk at Disco Naïeveté but has since been uploaded by the band themselves via Youtube. It can now be enjoyed in full up at the top with the band's full consent. It's set to feature on their fifth studio album, Bloom, which is set to drop around the world on May 15th via Sub Pop .
