Race Horses es, en mi opinión, una de esas bandas británicas (junto a Django Django y Alt-J) que pueden definir el sonido de Gran Bretaña hoy en día, así como en algún momento Blur o The Who encapsulaban a la perfección la postura y actitud de Inglaterra y sus alrededores. There's something of a snowball effect happening with Welsh indie popsters Race Horses . Debut album 'Goodbye Falkenburg' was well received and followed a similar slightly bonkers line to their forefathers Gorky's Zygotic Mynci and Super Furry Animals (who they must be sick of being compared to). They wrote jovial songs about cake, ponies and Benidorm, and gradually won hearts thanks to their non-conformist music and enthusiastic live performances. Race Horses est originaire du pays de Galles… et vient de lancer le single et vidéoclip My Year Abroad, question de donner un avant-goût de son nouvel album, Furniture (10 chansons) qui sera disponible le 10 septembre prochain sous le label Stolen Recordings , tandis que le single, lui, le sera à partir du 20 août dans une édition vinyle limitée sous [Pias Recordings] . Formé en 2005 sous le nom de Radio Luxembourg, dont deux seuls membres seront issus, le quintette Race Horses a connu son ascension en 2010 avec l’album Goodbye Falkenburg [...]

I gotta admit, I really love this sound. My Year Abroad comes off Race Horses ' upcoming album Furniture due out in Sept. Also, there is a limited edition colored vinyl 7" coming out with this track in August that might be worth the $$. I look forward to hearing more from these guys.
