Summer's started officially, and pretty much everybody is sweating out some hot weather (sorry, Australia). Hopefully this will help, no matter where you are. It's "That's Why God Made The Radio," the first single from the Beach Boys' new album of the same name. The Boys have reunited for a 50th anniversary tour, and in mid-July they'll wrap up the U.S. leg of the tour and head to Spain, Italy, Denmark, Germany, Japan, Australia and the United Kingdom. Dinner served to the BEACH BOYS latest LP which has been getting a few spins this June 012. New youthful video, THAT'S WHY GOD MADE THE RADIO , surfaced the other week, unfortunately it doesn't feature the JOHN STAMOS but it can double as a California tourism advert. Btw anyone know if the BRIAN WILSON story is still set to come to a big screen ? Defs has potential for near-epic levels of badassery if so.

The reunited Beach Boys' video for their comeback single " That's Why God Made The Radio " looks exactly the way you'd expect a record label-masterminded Beach Boys video to look like in 2012: Instagram-style footage of various attractive young white people enjoying California sunshine, with the elderly Boys only showing up at the very end, to dole out high-fives. The Beach Boys have issued a video for the titular track to their recently-released reunion album, That's Why God Made the Radio . What starts out like a straight-up Best Coast clip, fully-stocked with lush footage of sunny SoCal, becomes a traditional Beach Boys video; in other words, think of the dorky sensationalism in their old flair like "Kokomo".
