"With Fan Death, we wanted to make music that recalled the greatest era of electronic pop; stuff like Depeche Mode, OMD, Alphaville, New Order, Human League, Soft Cell and some Pet Shop Boys. Great songs that happened to be electronic, not soulless repetitious club music that seems to dominate these days. Naturally we are drawn to melancholic, anthemic songs and since we write the songs acoustically it seemed natural to incorporate live strings on some trax."

Things had seemed to go quiet on the Fan Death front for a while, but there's been a veritable flurry of activity from the disco pop duo as of late. Fan Death don't skimp on the video treatments: The clip for " Reuinited " featured a number of roadside cameos (Axl Rose, Marilyn Manson, Björk, others) via excellently unconvincing, often creepy lookalikes. This time, taking a turn into the white trash, we find an overweight dude in sweats and wife beater (and fairly hip hair) cuing up a Fan Death aerobics-style VHS video, seemingly in search of titillation, but he ultimately drops the remote and goes somewhere else entirely.
