Here's the brand new music video from The Killers with their third single "The World We Live In" from their album Day & Age . Think the Killers still have what it takes to be America's biggest band? Their sound continues to grow bigger and bigger with every song and album. Only time will tell.

"The World We Live In" is the third single from the Killers' latest album, Day & Age , and its video is as ponderous as the clips for " Spaceman " and " Human ." The world the Killers live in is apparently one where wearing a shirt with feathered shoulders and sitting on chairs on ice are totally normal things to do, and where people not named Brandon Flowers' sole purpose is to pick up trash, throw chairs at walls, and wander around a maze like they care about the video's supposed narrative arc. Here is the video from The Killers' "The World We Live In" from Day & Age . Being on twitter is funny because you end up hearing about really random stuff that doesn't always make sense. Before I'd watched this video, I'd heard that Brandon Flowers has a shiny suit. Then I watched the video. PigeonsandPlanes

While the rest of the Killers scavenge for trash near their log cabin, Brandon changes into a mirror ball suit (?) and sings to the mountain goats. He's no help in the wilderness, really. The band probably regrets even inviting him on this bros' songwriting retreat. Mark is pissed and smashes a chair against the wall. Ronnie can't get the portable TV to work. Certo che è curioso come spesso capiti che i lavori "meno riusciti" di molti artisti finiscano per essere quelli di maggior successo qui in Italia. I Killers ad esempio, nonostante i discreti risultati dei due album precedenti, non avevano mai raggiunto "la massa" quanto con l'ultimo e discutibile "Day & Age", che a livello mondiale rimane il loro album meno venduto, e non di poco. Molto del merito va sicuramente al singolo " Human ", un vero tormentone qui nel bel paese, probabilmente grazie alle sue sonorità molto "easy" e adatte all'airplay radiofonico. [...]

While on the topic of The Killers, make sure to check out the (HQ) video of their new European single "The World We Live In." It's is an interesting concept for a video released in late spring. While temperatures are rising on this side of the globe, it appears The Killers shot this video on a snowy mountain slope somewhere in Europe (I'm guessing). I'm once again a bit underwhelmed by this new Killers video. However, I love the contrast between the gray, dreary and slightly industrial setting of the video and Brandon Flowers' super glam fashion [...]
