Unsere Indie-Folk-Woche geht weiter. Diesmal mit den Londonern Treetop Flyers . Der Bandname erinnert schon an idyllischste Klangsphären zwischen Freigeistern und Tagträumern. Und genau so präsentiert sich auch ihre Musik, zauberhafteste Folk-Melodien mit eingängigen Indie-Pop-Perlen. Da lagen wir falsch, als wir angesichts der letzten Treetop Flyers -Platten gr�belten, ob die britischen Westcoast-Musiker noch einmal nachlegen. Jawohl! Und mit Treetop Flyers neuer Single fehlt es nicht an einen Meilenstein. Das liegt am h�rbaren Spa� bei der Aufnahme - und an einem Geistesblitz: "It's About Time", das auf das Nostalgischste an gro�e Tage von Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young erinnert. Fresh out the kitchen, we bring you the official video for Treetop Flyers ’ “It’s About Time”. It documents their summer adventures on the road during which they played Glastonbury and won the Glastonbury Festival Emerging Talent Competition. Their harmonies, which hint at a Crosby, Stills and Nash influence on the band, carry throughout most of the track and the black and white footage really helps bring the viewer back to the good ol’ days. This year's Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition winners Treetop Flyers have unveiled their new video, highlighting a busy summer playing a wide range of festivals. It's About Time is released on September 19th through Communion records and is another fantastic folk offering. With an occassional country twang to the music and full of soulful harmonies, this should prove a hit with fans of the band and folk in general alike.
