There are the essential albums that need to be in everyone's collection. There are the personal favorites, the ones that aren't highly acclaimed but still get played every once in a while. And then there are the albums that you stick in the back of your collection because you want to forget that [...]

As I mentioned a few days ago , the last few weeks have been draining. I realized that was starting to take me to some pretty dark places and I've decided to reverse that trend and try and pull myself along a more positive and productive path. I want my life to have the positive energy of this song, so let's see what I can do!

It's Time to Party, Party Hard, Party Til You Puke . Andrew W.K.'s debut , I Get Wet , was all about the partying. And his jock jams meets frat party (if there's a difference) paid off for him. He's licensed his songs to various advertisers and kept himself busy working on other people's music, doing television and even a little motivational speaking. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of 2002's I Get Wet , Andrew W.K. and Century Media will be releasing a special edition of the album. The new reissue will include the original album, as well as a second disc with live recordings, early demo versions, alternate mixes and other previously unreleased material. The label is also promising a small number of autographed deluxe editions which will contain "something" directly from Andrew; this will include " everything from a lock of his hair to a world tour [...]

As previously reported , Andrew WK' s party-rock masterpiece I Get Wet celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Sir WK is currently on the road playing the album in full, and now Century Media has announced plans for a special deluxe reissue. Available July 17th, the two-disc set includes never-before-heard live recordings, early demo versions, alternate mixes, and other previously unreleased material. There will also be a limited number of autographed deluxe editions each containing a special item from Andrew's private collection, including everything from a lock of his hair to a world tour airplane ticket [...]
