I remember going to see dEUS when I was at University way back in... well you don't need to know the year. They played the tiny Oxford Zodiac around the time of Little Arithmetics , I think (Balls! That dates me!). One of them was really drunk and got kicked out and we had to help get him back in. Avevamo delle canzoni che non volevamo andassero perse, non volevamo che rimanessero su uno scaffale per quattro anni, così abbiamo deciso di modificare il nostro precedente modo di lavorare e tirarcela di meno e finire le canzoni in fretta e farle ascoltare al nostro pubblico. È il 2012, cavoli, l'idea di aspettare dei mesi per pubblicare cose nuove è davvero fuori moda. In 1994 a small but vibrant Antwerp music scene meant that most alternative bands were incestuous, liquid beings; with each musician being as likely to be in five bands as one, but a mutual love of all things alternative and underground, melded five talented musicians and performers into dEUS. Since then the line-up has changed several times. At present dEUS consists of Tom Barman, Klaas Janzoons, Stéphane Misseghers, Mauro Pawlowksi and Alan Gevaert. A very Gainsbourgian new single by Flemish alt.rockers dEUS. Singer Tom Barman re-did Serge's Le poinçonneur earlier really, really well.

From out of nowhere, belgian rockstars dEUS  released a brand new album with 10 songs. Weird but cool. Their earlier work is legendary and they made a lot of classics, so we will not discuss whether dEus is good or not. Because let's face it: they fucking rule, okay?
