Ahhh! Summer, my most anticipated vacation time. Although it makes the beginning of hurricane season here in Miami, it also signals the time for long days on the boat, barbecuing, and relaxing. The people who raise money for Philadelphia's Fairmount Park want a piece of the action that Chicago's Grant Park is getting from Lollapalooza, so it's working with C3 Productions--which already puts on the aforementioned festival and the Austin City Limits Festival in Austin, Texas--to petition the parks commission for a permit to put on "a multi-day, multi-stage outdoor concert festival for Summer 2008."
