From the previously discussed Blakroc project, which pairs the Black Keys with assorted hip-hop artists, the first leaked track has made its way around the Internets. On the Vista features Mos Def rhyming over an intermittent wailing guitar line before he closes the track on some poetry-style talk-singing. The album is due out on Nov. 27 - "Black Friday." Blakroc has been releasing webisodes from the studio with other artists; this time we get some wicked visuals of Monch writing in the studio alongside the Black Keys.

Sure I'm looking forward to turkey and stuffing (mmmh), but I can't stop thinking about Blakroc, as Black Thursday nears! I've said this so many time it's become a repeated line, but honestly--I thought after the last web episode I was done hyping this CD, until this web episode of Pharoah Monch.
