Perhaps the best track of the L.A. brood’s Rise Up gets the video treatment. The streets of New York provide the backdrop, perhaps in homage to the Pete Rock beat. Heavy on the live action shots, “Light Up” proves Cypress still has quite the rambunctious energy, an accompanying following and a continuing love for cannabis, despite Prop 19’s failures.
