The Woodstock Music and Art Fair was a historic event held at Max Yasgur's 600 acre (2.4 km²; 240 ha) dairy farm in the rural town of Bethel, New York from August 15 to August 18, 1969. The NME is reporting that former Woodstock show stopper Sly Stone is allegedly claiming social security and living in cheap motels, according to a new documentary about the revered soul singer. 'Coming Back for More' by Dutch filmmaker Willem Alkema alleges that Stone has been forced to claim benefits after his manager Jerry Goldstein refused him access to his royalties.
