Owen Pallett is a pretty guy, so we're digging these close-ups of him in his latest video, "The Great Elsewhere" - which arrived over a year after its corresponding album. Like much of his strings-infused music, the video has a wintry, romantic atmosphere. It's beautiful, thanks to the directorial vision of Yuula Benivolski and Geoffrey Pugen. Owen Pallett's Heartland came out in January 2010, but he's still not quite ready to let go of it yet. This video for "The Great Elsewhere" from that album perfectly matches the jittery nature of the track, with the fast-cut visuals providing a suitable accompaniment to the frantic arrangement. Somewhere in there you'll find Pallett lip-synching the song in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it kind of way, but there's also plenty of fire, ice, woodland scenes and even a slug thrown in for good measure.

Owen Pallett has revelead his new video clip "The Great Elsewhere" directed by Yuula Benivolski and Geoffrey Pugen. A taster before the release of his concert video that we shot at Café de la Danse in February. Be on Grandcrew.com tomorrow to watch it !
