Weezer Raditude Geffen Records 02 November 2009 by Luke Morton It was only last year when that Weezer released their sixth studio- and third eponymous album (dubbed The Red Album by fans and critics alike), but now they're back with Raditude , the album Rivers Cuomo should never have written. Maybe Weezer are trying to maintain their resurgent popularity (thanks the kids [...]
So, here are the facts: band's aren't machines. They change, have emotions, get confused, angry, sad, happy. Weezer may have shoegazy elements, and certain stylistic roots, but they're just a rock band, and its members are just rock stars.

The full-on promotional push for Weezer's Raditude is underway, and the video for the cumbersomely titled "(If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To" has now been issued. According to the promo copy next to this YouTube clip, Raditude is available for a limited time for just $3.99 from Amazon. The video for the song is a glossy, retro affair, with the band setting up as a rockabilly outfit in a bandshell in a small town. It's not dissimilar to the feel of Weezer's classic "Buddy [...]

Tomorrow's the day (11/3/09), the new Weezer album "Raditude" (named by Rainn Wilson - see video below) hits the shelves. Yes I know the last couple albums haven't been earth shattering and yes some of the new songs which have leaked are complete trash (as I've discussed before), but I'll be damned if I'm not excited as hell. No matter how much I may hate some of their new material, I will always love them for the oldies. They may never make another Blue [...]
