Mariah Carey's rough performance on GMA this morning started with an awkward stair-descent and only got worse from there; apparently chastised by accusations that her previous television appearances have been augmented by backing tapes, she attempted to prove to the world that she didn't need any pre-recorded help this morning, and the results, to put it mildly, almost had me wishing that someone would wheel out an ice cream truck just to give her something else to do .
