For the last couple of weeks Blur have been teasing us with talk of some new music, the first from the band since 20102s Record Store Day track "Fool's Day" . While I really like most of the music the Blur makes, I've always been more of a fan of leader Damon Albarn 's other project the Gorillaz more. Earlier today, Blur performed on a rooftop in London and played two brand new songs called "The Puritan" and "Under The Westway". Today the band released some lyric based visuals for two new tracks "The Puritan" and "Under the Westway", both of which have had some live performance exposure for fans, with this being our first taste of the full studio versions. Are Blur splitting up? Are they writing a new record? We don't have a fucking clue. But we do know we've got two new tracks from them today - and they sound pretty good. Damon wrote them especially for their Hyde Park gig apparently.
