You may remember my little rant last year about Outside Land's ridiculous choices for their 2009 line-up . This year I am no longer angry at their choice of bands; this time I'm more...confused. It's quite obvious that Outside Lands is lacking on budget and local support. Via an exclusive announcement on SF Weekly's All Shook Down , the lineup for the 2010 Outside Lands Festival has been revealed, in video form (embedded below). The headliners will be Further with Phil Lesh and Bob Weir on Saturday, and Kings of Leon on Sunday. The event will take place August 14th-15th in Golden Gate Park. San Francisco is slowly gaining the status of "awesome music festival city" ever since Outside Lands arrived at Golden Gate Park. The festival, which started back in 2008, announced the full lineup of the two day event today. Headliners will include massive bands including Kings of Leon, My Morning Jacket, Phoenix, The Grateful Dead and another festival appearance by The Strokes. With the help of video DJ team Eclectic Method, Outside Lands has announced their 2010 line-up. The annual festival, held in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, will feature performances by Kings of Leon, The Strokes, Al Green, Gogol Bordello, Nas & Damian Marley, Bassnectar, Chromeo, Pretty Lights, Mayer Hawthorne & The Country and more. Last year the festival was three days, but I suspect the disappointment from Jack Black (instead of Beastie Boys) and ticket sales are responsible for the change. This year will feature: 1.
