Video: Frank Turner - The District Sleeps Alone Tonight

The one album done by Ben Gibbard and DNTEL, aka The Postal Service , was my favorite thing in the world for a full 12 months. Unfortunately they never did a follow up. No idea why. Guessing Ben decided he had better things to do with Deathcab and Zooey D. Thanks to Frank we get to hear what the coolest song on Give Up (at least I think so) would have sounded like as an acoustic folk rock song. Man I love Frank Turner.

It has been seven years since The Postal Service released Give Up and I still listen to it at least once a month. The obvious choice for a Cover Wars would have been Such Great Heights with the likes of Iron & Wine and Ben Folds likely to battle it out for the win, but when I sat down to write it, I figured I'd pick a different tune on the record so we could delve a bit more into obscurity.
