This past weekend, despite all my friends saying “you’ve got to be there,” I relaxed at home instead of journeying out to Indio. And to be honest with you, I don’t regret it. I didn’t have hundreds of dollars laying around, and didn’t want to buy an early bird ticket without the line up being released. Instead, I watched the livestream on Youtube from the comfort of a couch. This past Sunday, a few friends and I even had a stream viewing party to see Snoop and Dr. Dre’s historical performance. The [...]
Everyone's been going on about it the past two days, so here's a clip featuring Tupac Shakur 's hologram from Coachella at the weekend. Once you've seen it you'll understand all the hype, as it's truly astounding - check it out below:

Rapper Tupac Shakur helped to close out the first Coachella weekend, joining Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre for a turn on stage on Sunday night. Or at least, a hologram of the deceased performer did. Shakur's electronic ghost took to the stage, greeting Coachella before launching into a solo performance of his hit song 'Hail Mary.' Then, the illusory rapper and Snoop Dogg teamed up for a duet of “Ain’t Nothin’ Like A Gangsta Party.” The rendition of Shakur was uncanny in most respects, but appeared to glide across stage [...]
Literally just got back to my room and had to get this post up. Nothing really to comment on except that my 4 days down at coachella were unreal. Slept a total of 12 hours from thursday night through sunday morning. Dre and Snoops send off was the perfect ending. None of these videos do justice to what went down at this show. Place just got wild. 50 Cent was solid, Eminem was his usual self but got a little elctro with Dre which was sick, personally I thought Wiz was out of place being up there but beggers can't [...]
I personally did not make it to Coachella 2012 (and from all of us stuck at home to those who just returned or to those who will pack and head out to the sunny desert of Indio next weekend, we hate you). This is not a review of the festival, that comes after next week, but instead a hats off to the producers of the show and an article of shock and amazement and what was most likely the most surprising surprise guest of all time. We had all heard the rumors of a Tupac hologram at Coachella [...]
Tupac Shakur Holographic Performance at Coachella 2012 Not sure what to say beyond the fact that a hologram Tupac still outdoes nearly every rapper who’s ever lived. Fuck the world if they can’t adjust.

Well there were rumors about this leading up to Coachella and I think a lot of people really weren't sure how to react to this one. Most likely you were on one of two sides, let 2pac rest in peace or celebrate the new technology and embrace the re-emergence of Tupac Shakur. Or you could of not cared at all, but then why are you reading or watching this if you fit into that category... I was definitely leaning more towards the just let it be and stop trying to force this Star Wars technology on all [...]
As promised, a hologram version of deceased rapper Tupac Shakur joined former Death Row labelmates Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg on stage last night to perform hits like "Come With Me," "Hail Mary" and "Gangsta Party." What would a 2012 version of Tupac wear? Probably Timbs & no shirt. I was watching the stream from home and this performance was crazy . See you this Sunday, hologram Tupac! Thank evolution for modern technology, as last night a well-executed hologram of the late Tupac Shakur shared the stage with Death Row mates Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre. 'Pac ran off a quick version of "Hail Mary" followed by the classic duet with Snoop "Gangster Party"...pretty cool, and damn right they made the 15-yr-old passed rapper still ripped as all hell.
Didn't make it out to Coachella this year, but this looks awesome. Interested to hear how it looked in person...
Tupac appeared live on stage at this weekend's Coachella for the first time since his death 15 years ago. I. Love. Living. In. The. Future. Wanna know what would make a bazillion gazillion dollars? A Lynyrd Skynyrd hologram tour. You know it would. I think I'll spend the remainder of this morning listening to Tupac .
