The experimental, dreamy R&B project known as How To Dress Well hasn't always been a favorite of mine. If I remember correctly, my review of its debut album was pretty negative . In a time where artistically credible R&B is experiencing something of a resurgence , Tom Krell is defending sonic turf that no one else is even coming near. The first track from his sophomore effort Total Loss was released in May, and while "Ocean Floor for Everything"  was thoroughly agreeable, it screamed "business as usual." How To Dress Well with a new treatment for a new single off Total Loss , due out in September. Listeners have grown accustomed to the hypnotizing sound from How To Dress Well and "Cold Nites," is another great example of a genre that's overtime overlooked.

The new record from How to Dress Well is called Total Loss , which will be the mastermind, Tom Krell's, second record. He is one of the better bedroom-pop artists out there and the new tune, "Cold Nites" only backs my claim up more.
