The first song of theirs that captured my eardrums was "Rio," instantly whisking me off to a land peppered by handclaps where, happily, there are "always Brazilian boys to discover": [...]

Seattle is pretty well known as a go-to place for great pop/folk music. Hey Marseilles began in 2006, at the University of Washington. Having released one full length album, "To Travels & Trunks", which was remastered in 2010, this Seattle band is primed to climb the charts - it's good music that makes ears happy. hey marseilles - rio [though the band claim to be a folk act, this seattle based collective is definitely more than that. just listen to this wonderful tune (made npr's song of the day) as they add layers upon layers of instrumentation and catchy percussions. it's a music festival wrapped up in a song, if you ask me!] http://feeds.feedburner.com/Wo ngiesMusicWorld
