Neutral Milk Hotel 's epic 1998 album In The Aeroplane Over The Sea is a desert-island-disc for me. It would probably be in the top 5 discs I would strand myself on a sandbar with. So, it goes without much surprise when I say that I love this cover. The band is Fanfarlo , and their 2009 debut album Reservoir is a fantastic affair, and I'm loving everything they do, NMH cover or not. [...]

Fanfarlo recently announced on their website of an upcoming US tour starting on November 9th in Chicago, and for all of you locals - a November 14th date here in Salt Lake City. This is excellent news, as I have been wanting to see these guys for quite a while now. I missed my opportunity to see them way back at SXSW in March, so I'm anxiously awaiting this! Fanfarlo were just stateside for CMJ and will remain home in England for less than a month before returning to North America!
