Here's the new tune from Brooklyn's Grizzly Bear : Yet Again is taken from Grizzly Bear 's forthcoming fourth album Shields , which is released on the 17th September on Warp .

Grizzly Bear - Shields These two tracks from the forthcoming  Shields showcase, for the first time, Grizzly Bear as a rock band.  Sleeping Ute  announces itself to us with a rhythmic jaunt, sidled into a groove on entry of a thunderous bass, crunching guitars and a daunting and storm-ridden sound pallet.  Yet Again  is altogether more sinister, and ultimately more chaotic - even if introduced by a synchronised rhythm and chord progression giving the illusion of simplicity. A second track from Grizzly Bear 's upcoming album " Shields " premiered at Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1. Thank god for the internet so we can re-listen to it over and over again through the video above. After the more chaotic but truely beautiful " Sleeping Ute ", "Yet Again" gives us a more poppy side of Grizzly Bear. It feels like 2009 all over again with Grizzly Bear and Animal Collective both coming out with albums again. I only wish it really WAS 2009 again. Back before I decided to move into this tree house in the Bolivian jungle. Sure it's private but these snakes are literally killing me.

Grizzly Bear are finishing off the week with another cut off of their upcoming fourth album Shields , which is set to drop on September 18th. When compared to " Sleeping Ute ", the album's lead single, "Yet Again" is a much louder track with a more aggressive sound, and gives a great sense of diversity to what should be a fantastic album. Stream it below.

We can now hear the fantastic 2nd song to be released off of the upcoming Grizzly Bear record Shields , “Yet Again”. Unlike the all over, but impeccable “Sleeping Ute”, this is a lot more of an easy listen. It’s more “focused” and allows us to buckle up and let Ed Droste’s melodies take us to the most lush of environments. Shields will be out September 18th via Warp.

Grizzly Bear again? Ah yeah, again and again. With two songs leaked from next month's Shields , the ursine squad are the only contenders to take Ariel Pink's crown for my favorite album of the year involving guitars. Even though their piano lines and layered vocal harmonies seem to provide the music with most of its emotional gravity. The last minute or so of "Yet Again" is a distorted squall of guitars, but somehow they never lose control. Grizzly Bear's music is meticulous, attuned to the elements, angels tap dancing on the head of a pin.
