I first learned of Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros via the NPR SXSW recap . Since then, scouring the internet hasn't turned up too much in the form of released material. Today, they released Part 1 of this creepy/bizarre 12-Part feature-length movie musical and announced their debut album, Up From Below will be arriving on July 14th. If can make it past the chanting at the beginning of the above video, they music's pretty great.
