Both bands have sweet pop down pretty well with glint of jazzy classic rock. Company of Thieves is kind of like Silversun Pickups and Regina Spektor with a backing band. I have found the woman I want to marry...again. My latest rock n'roll crush is Genevieve Schatz, the singer and lead songwriter for the Chicago band Company Of Thieves. I think music videos for modern electro are kinda funnie cuz they only rlly exist on the internet. Rushmore is my favorite Wes Anderson movie, and one of my favorite movies in general. Which is why I can't decide whether or not I like this Company of Thieves video. Is it a delightful homage? Or a blatant, lazy rip off? I can't tell. Thoughts?
